This release incorporates numerous core features requested by our active projects. As always, we strive to address all major feature requests as outlined in our roadmap commitments. The latest version has been deployed to the demo environment for your review. Feel free to send us your much-appreciated feedback
βIt’s incredible how quickly my custom request was developed and included in the upcoming version!β

Whenever a customer submits a feature request, we address it during our Project Owners meeting, where we invite all end-users to contribute their individual requirements. This approach ensures alignment between our roadmap and the diverse needs across all projects.
New Excel add-in with much improved performance, simpler update process (can be managed by Office365 admin instead of individual users), improved user experience (Issues/Enrichment history are directly visible on the enrichment table), and easier configuration.
Batch Processes now feature two additional occurrence options allowing you to schedule the process once in the future or to define a recurring pattern which can process your work before you get to the office saving you lead time.
Extraction from File Repositories (local on server or sharepoint) & MS SQL Servers
Both sources can now be defined in the Project Setup menu after which you can refer to these in the Extraction operation. In addition, the wizard will now ask to execute the extraction right away or schedule it in the Batch Processing screen.
Batch Processing Indicators
Ever wondered if your colleague is still running a similar process? Keep an eye on the new process indicator which will notify you of any processes that are currently still running which may prevent redundant runs.
Manuals & Release Notes
To ease the onboarding process and to stay up to date with the latest changes made to DATAshaper we have expanded the reporting menu to present you with live documentation that is expanded regularly and requires no update to your Datashaper client.
Unfinished Mappings (Report)
This burndown list of outstanding tasks will allow you to route to specific parts of Datashaper where you can resolve them to make your deadlines and ensure a complete data load.
Administration Rework
This feature has undergone a full rework. You can now set user permissions on the Application level, a group level or even at the level of a single user. In addition, you can now also opt to use AD Authentication which eases the administration part of your work and which also boosts security.
Application Settings/Preferences
You can now personalize the behavior of DATAshaper from the Administration menu to fit the needs of your team all at once. Please let us know if you have any additional settings you would like to tailor to your needs as we will evaluate these for every release.
